Our client is one of the worlds largest renewable energy funds with some of the most exciting renewable energy infrastructure projects underway in Australia. You will be working for a global business that is at the forefront of driving the shift to renewable.

Job Description

With an exciting and aggressive growth plan, our client is looking to bring in a local finance analyst to support their valuations and investment decisions. Reporting to the Head of Investments, you will be part of dynamic team supporting the funds in investment management, reporting and workstreams throughout the lifecycle of their renewable investments. Duties will include transactions such as project financing/re-financing, divestments, and risk management.

Playing a Key Role, You Will Be Responsible For

Developing and maintaining complex financial models for both upcoming and existing assetsReporting on quarterly valuation and investment returnsProviding robust and detailed analysis, support to the investment management team and responsible for the investmentsDelivering ad hoc analysis of investments and development projects helping pinpoint opportunities and risksProviding high-quality financial analysis and PowerPoint presentations to support informed management decisionsOther ad hoc tasks, including participation in refinancing and divestment processesThe Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you will have a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or other relevant fields. You will have a solid valuation and financial modelling knowledge and experience in a private equity firm, consulting or multinational corporate. In addition to this you will have excellent quantitative and analytical skills and a very strong attention to detail as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Interests or experience in the renewable energy sector or asset management or infrastructure will be highly regarded.
